If you go to www.google.com/unclesam it brings up a "patriotic" google word and its still the search engine. What is the difference between Uncle Sam search and the regular Google Search?

nothing really, it simply makes a patriotic interface for you to bookmark, it doesnt change any of the search abilities of google's search engine..
just as http://www.google.com/linux gives you a linux enthusist interface you can bookmark or use for your homepage.
