Questions about google page rank...?

I'm new on the net. i have a lot of question about google page rank, hope you guys can help me to answer these questions. And sorry for my poor english. :)





1. I'm planning to join an article submission service to submit my article to all article directories to increase my google page rank. But question is here, as i know, if i want to increase my google page rank, i must have a link in a high page rank page to link back my website. For instance, www.example.com is a article directory with PR 6. But only the home page of this website is PR 6, some pages are PR 2 and other pages are PR 1 or PR 0. If i submit my article to this website, my article will only appear in the new web page with no page rank, it will not appear in the home page. So it won't help me to increase my website page rank right? If i want to increase my google page rank, my article must in the home page with PR 6. Am i right?

Generally, yes. But a ton more then just where the link comes from determines your page rank. Just concentrate on the content, not the rank. The rank will come if you get some good content and some moderate advertisement.





If you really want to show up on google, just bet Adwords.
Reply:Page Rank is a measurement for the "quality" of a web page caused by "votes" from other pages through links to your page.


The more PR the page where your link is placed has, the more PR is passed to your page. Lots of links from low PR pages have the "same" effect than one link from a high PR page.
