Bearshare interfering with google?
All of the file sharing sites are filled with spyware which interferes with all kinds of stuff on your computer
Reply:Bearshare and Limewire are file sharing websites,,, the only reason that for example limeware allows people to download free music is to install spyware and tracking software on to your computer with out your knowledge this in time will slow your computer down, as for bearshare if you want or looking for something then bearshare will find it for you, only thing is,, it will look in all the other users computer's to find it, and if that computer has a virus then so will yours. its like spreading a cold or flu.
Reply:Its evil but if u like iut change homepage on browser to diff website or get frostwire cause its better
Reply:First of all are you using I.E.? If so upgrade to i.e. version 7. It's not better, at least not in my opinion, but it does give you more control over homepages, and alerts you when some program tries to change them.

Other than that I would say there some sneaky little adware running on your computer, go to adremove and look for things that don't make sense, or even better download spybot, load it and run. That'll clear out most of the crap.

Good luck.

To delete bearshare files first goto ad/remove and uninstall the program, then goto program files find the bearshare folder, open it and retrieve all of your downloaded files, then delete the folder.

Then clean your registry.

That's gotta work.
Reply:I would avise you to use these scans to remove any syware that bearshare has infected your PC with.

All of these are ones that I personally use and all are free. After you install any of them, make sure you update them to get the full affect.

Spybot - Search %26amp; Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S%26amp;D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.
