Not having a toolbar, whether it is Googles, Yahoos, or anyone elses, does not put you at any disadvantage at all. They are merely designed to provide helpful functions and services at your fingertips... services which can easily be accessed in other ways.
Reply:I have had more luck with the yahoo toolbar. I have seen ads online for if you want to work from home that there are things you can buy online using the google toolbar to make extra money. I amnot sure how true it is. I often think about how much available money there is to make on the internet, but uinfortunately I have really not funds to start spending to see if I can get rich quick (lol) anyway I just think that the yahoo is more acessable and it has what I like.
Reply:What you read is basicly a commercial. Google toolbar does have a few things that might save you a few minutes in a DAY of work, but there isn't anything there that cant be duplicated by yahoo or microsoft live toolbar, both of which are excellent. I personallly have an extra toolbar on my machines, but it isn't all that.

Also, while one toolbar may be good, two three or more are NOT better, they fight each other and cause erratic behaviour which some people incorrectly blame on internet explorer.

I agree with you that it is a PREFERENCE and the yahoo toolbar is just fine, or the microsoft live toolbar is just fine, or the google toolbar is fine too.

you can remove extra toolbars through add/remove programs or you can often disable them in internet explorer/tools/manage addons
