Use firefox, have google.com as my home page, keeps going back to google.com.au im in australia but it usually

usually used to work that i had the US google as my homepage, I think from memory someone said in a forum that i found like a year ago that I SHOULD put in in the options setting in firefox google.com/en or some rubbish cannot find that anymore





question is how can I get this browser to stop reverting to the australian google?

By default, google tries to use the domain of your local environment, in your case - australia.





On the google homepage, you should see a link that says " Go to Google.com" http://www.google.com/ncr





This forces google to use the international domain homepage.





You can also set the link above as your homepage to always visit the main google page.

I type google.com and i go there not to google.com.au
