Maddie on Google?

I have heard that the McCanns are striking a deal with Google to have Maddies eyes on their logo. although I really do care about Maddie and I am certainly not a McCann hater, I am not sure on this latest move. Maddie on Google? She needs finding desperately, each day that goes by could be a day of torture and pain for her - but what about all of the other kids?? They are not on Google. They are not featured daily in the news. The McCanns need to concentrate on perhaps setting up a charity and pouring in all funds into it, and employing private detectives or whatever it takes - to find ALL of these poor children that are missing.

Having said all that, if my daughter was missing I am damn certain I would concentrate on finding purely her, and her alone. It just seems a bit of a kick in the teeth for all other missing, abused etc etc kids.

PLEASE dont reply just to slate the McCanns - that is NOT why I was writing this. Adults only please!

Maddie on Google?
OK, I am in the camp that says there has been way too much media focus on one missing child, however the media campaign that has been generated has made this child's eyes synonomous with missing kids.

Is it not a far more constructive use of all this publicity to create recognition of the plight of all mising kids using these eyes - that way, Madeline's features are still highly publicised whilst other kids get some benefit?

If so, then yes - big thumbs up for benevolent old Google!
Reply:At the end of the day it was up to Google to say

'No hang on, we will do something for ALL missing children or none at all. I personally dont regard Google as having much of a backbone to capitulate to the McCanns demands just in case the publicity reflected badly on them'
Reply:Maddie! sorry i don't know about it
