How come Google came up when I put a "known and often used" www address in and hit enter?

I added a free subscription thru Road Runner of EZ Antivirus earlier, so it asked me this morning something about Google. I accepted the notice and allowed the Google access to my computer. Later, I have entered an often used web address and it went right to a google page that had the address I typed, in the #1 position! Google seems to have invaded my preferences. How do I change it back?

go to ad remove programs and remove the google bar program. then go to downloads.com and get an adware program and run it good luck.
