In the UK Big Brother have fixed tags to our trash cans to monitor the amount of(taxable) trash we discard, all without our knowledge or our permission - anything is possible.

And yes, this is actually a criminal act, unless they have asked you for your permission and have received it to do so.
Reply:You may laugh, 'jungle hat', but Microsoft are packaging this new technology with their up-coming operating systems, and it doesn't ask permission. It doesn't tell you about it either.
