Uninstalling Google Desktop; will it affect anything?

Google desktop is causing some problems, especially for my Windows Sidebar (I didn't like the google one very much).


If I uninstall Google Desktop, will it really do anything to my laptop?

I have google toolbar, and they are sneaky with it too.
