With your unlimited plan you will be able to use Google Maps Mobile any time you like. This will not cost you anything on top of your regular monthly bill.

Check out this link for some detailed info about the application http://www.bbgeeks.com/software-reviews/...

As far as the GPS functionality is concerned, the maps application will always try and use GPS to determine your location as accurately as possible.

Since you do not have GPS functinality on your BlackBerry, the application will use the cell phone towers around you to determine your location as accurately as possible.

If you are in an area with many cell phone towers, the position on the map will be very close to where you really are. In areas where there are fewer towers, the accuracy of your location will be decreased.
