... but now when you google my email the link to the site still appears with some info about me underneath

Is there a way to remove this link from Google?

Sounds like you're on a poorly managed site. You should cancel membership and, before that, remove or change all data that you can. You have to be very careful where you post information and what you disclose. Take care.
Reply:If you ask google, they will remove it..good luck%26gt;%26gt;

Reply:i wouldn't worry about it too much. i have willingly given out my name and address online over the last 11 years and no one has ever come to my house.

atleast you didn't do the dum thing this college grad i know did. he made a geocities free homepage back in 1996. he then placed his social security nuber on his main page.

ten years later he came into geocities help chat and asked me how he could remove that off of his old homepage. I said you did what? you must be out of your mind to do such a thing. yeah i know that now he says. I asked how many years it took hime to figure it out but got no answer. :)

well back when yahoo bought geocities in april 1999 they gave us a 90-day grace period to reclaim our sites. the people that didn't lost any chance to do so after that. well he was really ticked off at yahoo. but i reminded him whom put it there in the first place.
