I live in UK, and I have google.co.uk as my homepage in IE7 within which when I make a search query it returns UK results. Which is fine I'm happy with that! But I also have a google search box on top right hand corner of the page(if you use IE7 you will know what I'm talking about) and when I make a search query from there Google returns US and Canada results...
How can I change it so it returns UK results when I make a search from that box? It's just easier to use sometimes when you're searching in new tabs or from a different page
Thanks!
Google returns search results for US and Canada but im in UK?
try putting in" uk only "after your search question !! hope this helps
Reply:when you are doing your search, on google homepage where you type in what your searching for, underneath the search bar it says uk only, check that box!!
Reply:Yahoo never actually chooses U.K. answers anyway! when i am searching for something i normally use U.K. only too cos it helps me narrow down my search quicker. Yahoo displays Canada and U.S. answers sometimes cos they might be the only answers found. (I'm in South Wales, U.K.)
Reply:http://www.google.co.uk/
Thats for UK specific answers. :)
