I have Windows XP and I accidentally installed Google toolbar with Java update. I want to completely remove it from my system. I went to add/remove programs and clicked on remove for "Google toolbar for Internet Explorer" and IT DIDN"T REMOVE IT! It is still there after 10 attempts at removing it!
I also found instructions on how to remove it with a different way: "Click on settings on Google toolbar...." But where is Google toolbar located? I don't see it anywhere when I open Internet Explorer, and I don't see "Settings" button anywhere. How to make Google toolbar appear and how to remove it from my Add/remove programs under control pannel? Please help!
How do I uninstall google toolbar?
control panel then add and remove programs!!!
Reply:Go to your Start button and do not open your Start menu--clik the opposite button, click on Explore, and you will be taken to your files. If it isn't listed in your programs, you will have to search through your files (do not delete anything unless you are positive your computer does not need it to operate properly). Try looking
in Applications, but your Google Toolbar will be somewhere in your programs. When you find it, delete it! Voila! You will no longer have it.
Reply:you right click on your mouse on the toolbar and uncheck the google toolbar
Reply:Go to Add/Remove programs and remove it.
Reply:If you can't find it it isn't there for you to get rid of,
