Google talk?

what internet phone services work on google talk?, its pretty pathetic that i cant just ask google themselves, cuz there is just no such thing as contacting them.

google talk isn't a VIOP service, as in, you can't use it to make phone calls from the internet. It's just another instant messaging protocol.





of course, it might have talk capabilites, so you can talk with your friends if you have a microphone, but it isn't VIOP, which is what i think you are thinking of.
Reply:Google talk has an application that can allow voice and video communication called Festoon. It's pretty decent but was still in it's infancy when I last tested it. It is no like skype, as it does not allow you to maike phone over internet calls. Just PC to PC calls. Otherwise google talk itself is just anoter instant messaging program.
