Google Earth, Does anyone know a site similar to Google Earth but with current pictures?

I am looking for satalite pictures of the UK but google earth is about 10 years out of date. Is there any other sites out there I dont mind paying

for anyone else, the answer is NO, there ain't one
Reply:There's isn't a fully up to date "public" one, you have to bare in mind that only a small group of people are photo mapping the uk, and it takes years to do each update. Most areas are 3-5 years out of date, so unless you have MOD access then your out of luck.

Reply:You could try the windows live local (I think its called) for scrollable like google earth or Multimap for simular pictures. The images of course depend what is available to the companies for their budget - and if they are free to look at, how much budget do you think the companies are going to put towards modern pictures (if they will get no income from them?). If you want more up to date photos you will have to pay.
Reply:I was under the impression that pics were about 5 years old and were more recent than some of the other sites. Of course, there's NASA's site, but ou have restricted viewing.
Reply:There are sites that show great imagery but I have yet to see any recent ones for UK
Reply:http://local.live.com - if you live in or near quite a big town you can see bird's eye images which are fairly recent (the ones of my area are about 11 months old). However I think the aerial photos are about the same (if not older) than the ones on Google Earth.
